At ONO, your privacy is paramount. We are committed to transparency regarding the minimal data we collect to provide and improve our services. This Privacy Policy outlines how we handle your information.

Data Collected

Account Data

When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password. This data is managed securely through Supabase Authentication. We do not store your plain-text password.

Payment Data

Payments are processed securely via Stripe. When you make a purchase, Stripe collects your payment information (such as credit card details and billing address). ONO does not store or have access to your full credit card number; we only receive transaction confirmations and metadata (like Stripe Session IDs) to fulfill your digital tape order.

Profile Data

You may provide a username (handle) and upload content such as digital tapes and artwork. This information is publicly displayed as part of your profile on the ONO platform.

Technical Data

Our servers automatically log standard technical information, including your IP address, browser type, and operating system. This data is used for security, debugging, and general service maintenance and is not linked to your identity for profiling purposes.

How Data is Used

We use the collected data primarily to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the ONO Service.
  • Authenticate your identity and secure your account.
  • Allow you to upload and share digital content.
  • Prevent fraudulent activity and ensure compliance with our Terms of Service.

Third-Party Services

Authentication and Database

ONO leverages Supabase for robust and secure database management and user authentication. Supabase processes your account data according to their privacy policy. We do not share your data with other third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

Storage Infrastructure

Digital assets (audio files and configurations) are stored using Cloudflare R2. This ensures high-performance access and security for your private tape library.

Google Sign-In

When you choose to register or sign in via Google, ONO receives only the following data from Google: your email address (used as your unique account identifier), your full name, and your profile avatar (used to pre-populate your ONO operator profile). ONO does not sell, share, or transmit this Google-sourced data to any advertising networks or third-party marketing platforms. You may revoke ONO's access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Cookies

We use essential cookies solely for session management, ensuring that you remain logged in and your preferences are maintained during your use of the Service. These are functional cookies necessary for the operation of the website and do not track your activity across other sites for advertising purposes.

Your Rights

You have the right to access and control your personal data. You can view and modify your profile data through your user dashboard. If you wish to request the deletion of your account or have any privacy-related inquiries, please contact our founder directly at founder@onotape.one.
